Growing successfully in the Leipzig Region: BANTBORU in Gerichshain - site opening and start of production
Less than a year after the opening of the site in Gerichshain in the District of Leipzig, a lot has happened at the Turkish automotive supplier BANTBORU.
The site manager, Mr. Rocco Bruno, proudly shows us around the production halls, where the machines are working at full speed to manufacture cables for customers such as BMW and MAGNA. The start of production went according to plan, several bending machines are doing their work. However, the construction of the site is by no means finished yet; little by little, the 5,600 m² production complex is being filled with more machines and equipment for processing the orders.
In addition to parts production for the automotive industry, so-called transfer machines developed by BANTBORU, which are used to machine the ends of cables and pipes, are also manufactured at the Leipzig site and prepared for shipment to the main factory in Turkey.
The company already employs 14 people and wants to create more jobs in the next few years. Among them are many young employees who are trained by the boss himself. The company also offers retraining; in the future, apprenticeships will probably be offered again. Mr. Bruno is very satisfied with the development so far: "Our expectations have all been fulfilled. The successful start shows that growth is also possible in the future," confirms Mr. Bruno.
On the second floor, engineers, sales staff and administrative employees work in the modern offices. The employees are also happy at the new location and praise the pleasant working atmosphere. And there is a very special team event: once a week, the boss Mr. Bruno cooks for the entire staff.

BANTBORU is the leading producer of pipes for the automotive and household appliance sectors in Turkey. The company manufactures pipes used in the production of hydraulic brakes and fuel systems in the automotive industry and condenser pipes in the cooling sector. The tubes are thus used in brake lines, clutch lines, control lines and fuel lines.
