Natuvion – the digital moving company sets up a new office in Leipzig.
The owner-managed company, Natuvion, has almost 250 employees at nine locations in six countries worldwide. Marcus Petzold will manage the new branch here in Leipzig.
For Natuvion, the commitment in Central Germany with the opening of the Leipzig branch in early 2021 is the next logical step in the growth strategy. This move further increases Natuvions’s presence for customers and existing and, above all, new employees in the Central Germany region.
“You can describe Natuvion as a kind of digital moving company. The team does not transport tables, filing cabinets or chairs. Instead, Natuvion moves business-critical data and processes from one technological platform to another,” explains Marcus Petzold. The “moving services” from Natuvion incorporate extensive data transformation services that become necessary in the event of system changes, mergers, company acquisitions or sales. For this purpose, Natuvion has its own powerful migration tool, the Data Conversion Server ™ (DCS), which is continuously further developed. “Coupled with our IT consulting skills, this is what makes it possible for our customers to change the context of digitisation in the first place.
The new office is located in downtown Leipzig.
Natuvion has many well-known customers. The new location in Leipzig means there are short distances to these. Marcus Petzold is from Leipzig himself: “My heart beats for the city and the surrounding area. Leipzig is a top location. There is a lot to do with energy here – Leipzig has some well established municipal utilities, the electricity exchange, VNG is based in Leipzig, and it is not far from other large energy suppliers. Energy supply was important to us because it is one of the industries in which we are very active.” Networking at the location is also of great interest to him: “With the IT-Mitteldeutschland e. V., there is a wonderful network of very committed companies. Established business relationships develop, and new ones emerge,” he explains enthusiastically.
