Review of the 8th Job Fair Nuremberg

Last weekend, Invest Region Leipzig was an exhibitor at the Baralg trade fair (job fair) in Nuremberg together with Cluster IT Mitteldeutschland. The joint appearance was supported by Leipzig Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Promoting the region together

The IT location Leipzig is growing at an impressive pace! To give a face to this strong growth in the Leipzig Region, the IRL and the Cluster IT were represented for the first time as exhibitors at the 8th job fair in Nuremberg. As an association of interests, IT Cluster presented seven of its more than 70 members there, of which IT Sonix Custom Development GmbH and BI Business Intelligence GmbH were also represented as co-exhibitors at the joint stand. In addition, ccc software GmbH, BTC Business Technology Consulting AG, ]init[ AG, Northwave Deutschland GmbH, XITASO GmbH, and the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) were presented.

A complete success for the regional IT industry

The trade show was well attended on both days, and the Leipzig region's booth was bustling with visitors. Since the majority of the trade fair exhibitors came from the Nuremberg/Bavaria region, the Leipzig booth offered special added value and insight into the good development opportunities and high quality of life in the region. Melanie Böhm, IRL consultant in the field of skilled labor service, was able to advertise the many advantages of the city and the Leipzig Region to interested visitors at the booth.

Supraregional visibility and growth

The co-exhibitors at the Region Leipzig booth were also able to chalk up the trade show as a complete success. The first applications were already received on site, and the interest in Leipzig's IT market is high among skilled workers. Already now a high interest of supraregional specialists in moving to Leipzig and the region is apparent.
