Swappie Oy relies on Leipzig: New logistics centre for Europe's top iPhone refurbisher

Leipzig, 19th September 2023 - The Finnish company Swappie Oy, recently recognised by the Financial Times as Europe's fastest growing company in 2022, is expanding into Germany. Leipzig has been chosen as the location for the central logistics centre in Central Europe to further drive Swappie's success story.

Swappie, Europe's largest iPhone refurbisher, has chosen Leipzig as the ideal location for its European logistics centre due to its geographical advantages and existing infrastructure. Swappie.de has enjoyed considerable success on the German market since its launch in 2020, which further emphasises the decision in favour of Germany.

Invest Region Leipzig GmbH, together with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and the Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS), supported the relocation process. As the home of several well-known e-commerce companies, Leipzig offers Swappie an ideal environment for its Europe-wide activities. Leipzig's existing multimodal infrastructure enables Swappie Oy to guarantee regular and reliable deliveries.

Swappie is known for its leading role in the circular economy and is active in 15 European markets. With the new logistics centre in Leipzig, the company will further expand its capacity and ensure supply to the German market.
