Health Economy Round Table

The "Stammtisch Gesundheitswirtschaft und Pflege LK Nordsachsen" (Health Economy and Nursing Round Table) was a networking offer of the district for companies in the health and nursing industry. Among the participants were managing directors, nursing managers and personnel managers. The focus was on clinics, wellness clinics, senior citizens' facilities and mobile care facilities from Northern Saxony. The specialist service of Invest Region Leipzig used this meeting to present the International Jobdays Health Prague 2016 and to provide information at a joint stand.

Invest Region Leipzig at the IT Congress in Darmstadt

More than 150 exhibitors presented the latest trends and innovations in the industry in Darmstadt under the motto "Business 4.0 - Digitalisation for SMEs". The event was important for the Region of Leipzig in that Comparex AG, an internationally operating IT service provider, is based in Leipzig. Furthermore, the City of Leipzig is regarded as a competence centre for the energy industry and is supported in IT advancement by the well-known Perdata brand.

Invest Region Leipzig starts 2016 in Berlin and Dresden

Invest Region Leipzig was present at International Green Week in Berlin. More than 1,500 exhibitors with more than 100,000 products from Germany and the world took part in this international exhibition for food, agriculture and horticulture, which looks back on a 90-year tradition. The 400,000 visitors to the event also found the joint stand of Invest Region Leipzig and Leipzig Tourism und Marketing GmbH (LTM). After all, more than 350 companies are active in the food and agriculture sectors in the Region of Leipzig.

At the beginning of the year, Invest Region Leipzig had its own stand at the Dresden Trade Fair in order to inform future trainees, Bachelor’s students and other interested specialists about the job prospects in the Region of Leipzig and to present the job portal. According to the organiser, 459 exhibitors experienced a new record when 30,500 visitors flocked to Dresden.
