enaDyne chooses Leipzig as its new company headquarters and production site

Saxony keeps innovative start-up: enaDyne settles in Leipzig with the support of the Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS) and Invest Region Leipzig GmbH (IRL). With the development of advanced non-thermal plasma catalysts, enaDyne is making an important contribution to CO2 reduction and the energy transition.

The IRL: A strong partner in the establishment of companies

Currently still based in BioCity, enaDyne is planning further growth and a move to its own premises in 2024. The City of Leipzig and the IRL will continue to actively support enaDyne in its further search for a location, in building a network and in terms of skilled labour services. The decision in favour of Leipzig underlines the city's attractiveness as a business location and the success of the IRL in attracting innovative companies.

Future technology for the energy transition

enaDyne's plasma reactors efficiently convert greenhouse gases into valuable hydrocarbons such as methanol, ethanol or ethylene. The innovative process is characterised by high efficiency, scalability and cost-effectiveness. enaDyne's success speaks for itself: enaDyne has been a successful participant in the Federal Agency for Leap Innovations' SPRIND carbon-to-value challenge since 2022 and is currently one of the last three teams to receive funding. In spring 2023, the company was nominated by the Urban Future Lab of the City of New York as a participant in the Carbon to Value Initiative and successfully took part in the Carbontech Accelerator programme. In June 2023, the company was honoured with the IQ Innovation Award and the Chemistry Cluster Award of the Central German Metropolitan Region for its pioneering solutions.
